  the owner made us pay our bill up front because we didn’t look, to him, like the type of people he or she could rely on paying the bill. the reason we, and no one else had to do this was obvious and nonsensical. being well-heeled and able to pay for everyone’s meal that evening didn’t matter. we will never eat there again, and suggest that everyone boycott this restaurant for such behavior.
